Waking up the Ghosts

Almost done... Tuesday was the shed, Wednesday was the attic, today is the house interior. I have crawled into corners of this house that haven't been visited upon in years, I have seen things we all thought were long gone to the Fresh Kills Landfill gods and now I wish to endeavor further. I am going into THE BASEMENT! Wish me luck, I know there are many memories residing there, memories mommy and I always promised ourselves, "One day, we'll go down there together and have to go through it all..." Well, that one day has come - why not some random Tuesday in the Spring of 2008? I am doing the Spring cleaning of my LIFE! - and I am ready for action!

Next time everyone is under one roof again we will actually be able to LOOK at all of the pictures (novel idea, huh?), the slides, the 8mm movies! And use all of the packaged up things that our parents thought, "I'd better keep this, we might need it some day" and we will all be able to BREATHE... because there will be space... space to LIVE.

Today is garbage day and I am nervous, but I know I am doing the right thing. This weekend is my mega yard sale. We need this, I need this and it needs to be done. No regrets, no second guesses... let me get on with it!

Christmas dinner

Hi guys...

So far on the menu for Christmas I have
-turkey
-ham
-mashed potatoes
-stuffing
-cranberry sauce
-stringbean casserole
-stuffed mushrooms
-yams
-turnips (grandma is coming!)
-broccoli

Jason has requested red meat. I said I could swing a London Broil, but I fear we might explode!
